Zeppoles
Sorry Grandma Marie I’m ditching the oil and quite possibly never looking back.
Zeppoles o Sweet Zepploes how I love theee.
In my family, these fluffy, hot puffs of dough are typically enjoyed on Christmas Eve. My grandmother would serve them up before dinner while we were all lingering around the kitchen waiting for the Seven Fishes feast to start, now Chris and I look forward to serving these up to our guests as part of dessert every Christmas Eve. Every other year we’ve fried them in oil and then we are left with a bunch of oil for about a year until we need to fry something again. In an effort to not have to clean up that mess anymore I thought to myself there has to be some Air fryer version of these suckers.
I mean you can make just about anything in the air fryer.
So without further ado..
Air Fryer Zeppoles
