Chocolate Protein Biscotti

I don't know about you but when it’s my time of the month I pretty much want chocolate morning, noon, and night. But I know my body NEEDS some of the other stuff to survive and thrive unfortunately lol So, I've created countless treats that scratch the chocolate craving and keep me crushing it in the gym and in life.



Makes: 10 Biscotti

Macros:

Calories 90

Protein 8.5 g

Carb 9.6g

Fat 2.6 g

Ingredients:

  1. 2 scoops of chocolate whey ( I have been using Legion Dutch Chocolate as of late and I love it)

  2. 6 tbsp pb 2 powder

  3. 1 large egg

  4. 2 tsp truvia brown sugar

  5. 2.5 tbsp Enjoy life chocolate chips

  6. 60 g self-rising flour

  7. .25 cup Sugar-Free pancake syrup



Instructions:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients except the chocolate chips.

  2. Mix in the egg and the syrup, and stir until combined well

  3. Fold in half of the number of chocolate chips

  4. Pour into a small rectangular pan

  5. Bake at 350 for approx. 15 mins

  6. Let biscotti completely cool

  7. slice into 10 sections

  8. Place face down on parchment paper and rebake at 350 for approx. 7-10 mins

  9. Let cool completely and drizzle with Nutella or melted chocolate and enjoy
