Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls
With BBQ’s coming to a close and sports hangouts with friends on the horizon, this party treat will for sure be a fan favorite by all. With only 4 ingredients, it's easy, convenient and on the off chance, you hate Philly cheesesteaks, ( is there such a person?) you can use this idea to make any combination of your favorite handheld game day snacks.
Makes: about 10 egg rolls
Ingredients:
1 pound butcher box ground beef
3/4 of a bag of frozen peppers and onions
1 package of egg roll wraps ( I found mine in our local stop and shop by the produce and tofu)
1/4-1/2 cup Velveeta Cheese ( can use reduced fat or regular fat version)
Paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Instructions:
Brown ground beef in a frying pan.
Add frozen veg and sautee for a few mins.
Season with paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper
Fold in cheese.
Continue to stir.
Add a few spoonfuls to egg roll wrap and follow handy instructions on rolling in the package. I was stressed about this part but very easy.
Spray the air fryer with spray oil. Place 4-5 egg rolls in an air fryer depending on size, spray again, and cook for 5-7 mins flipping halfway through.
If you want extra cheese to dip it in, combine 3-4 tbsp of Velveeta with 1/4 cup of milk. Microwave and stir to combine. We also added a slice of pepper jack for some spice. 10/10 recommend if you have it handy.
Serve and easily become the most popular at any party you attend this season.
