Low Calorie Apple Doughnuts

Makes: 5 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 apple

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or truvia

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • 100 g greek yogurt

  • 40 g oat flour (blend regular oats)

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • Maple Syrup of Choice ( I used sugar free)

Instructions:

  • Dice Apple and cook on pan with about 2 tbsp or so of maple syrup and cinnamon

  • cook for about 5 mins until soft

  • Mix together yogurt, baking powder, egg, oat flour

  • spray bottom of doughnut pan ( I use these )

  • pour half the mixture across all doughnuts fill the center with apple mixture from earlier.

  • Add remaining mixture to a ziploc bag or pastry bag and cover the apples

  • bake at 350 for about 12-15 mins

  • pop out of mold and roll in cinnamon and sugar!
