HAWAIIAN Meatballs
Thanks to defrosting to much meat one week and a lonely pineapple on my counter the Hawaiian Meatball was born.
I defrosted a bunch of my Butcher Box ground beef for the Holiday weekend a while back and we ended up being out all weekend and not using it. So when Monday rolled around I was like well, now what do I do?
Cook time: 20 mins
Makes: 8-10 meatballs
Ingredients
Butcher Box Ground Beef
1 pineapple or 1 can pineapple
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch or flour
1 egg
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Worchestire sauce
panko breadcrumbs
garlic powder
salt + pepper
Sriracha
Instructions:
For the MeatBalls combine:
BreadCrumb- about 1/2 cp roughly
1 egg
Worchestire sauce- about 1-2 tsps
Garlic powder + Salt + Pepper
mix well and roll into about 8-10 meatballs
Cook in the Air Fryer on 375 for about 5-7 mins
For the sauce:
In a warm sauce pan mix together 1 tbsp of sauce sauce, 1 tbsp of worchestire sauce and 1/4 cp brown sugar
Mix well and slowly add in a pinch or two of flour. Let this simmer while the meatballs cook. Now dice up your pineapple or pop open your can. Add 1/4 cp or so of pineapple juice to the plan and chop up the remaining pineapple. I just squeezed some chunks over my pan since I used fresh pineapple. Toss in about 1 p of chunks and mix well. Pour sauce over cooked meatballs and Enjoy.
