Air Fryer Meatballs

I was on my blog the other day searching for my meatball recipe for some upcoming content and I realized it never made it onto the blog somehow!

This one is long overdue.

Enjoy

Recipe Makes 10 Servings

Macros: 131 Calories 8 g fat | 3.8 g carbs | 10.3 g protein per bar (this was with 85% Butcher Box ground beef-macros will change according to %fat in meat)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Italian style breadcrumb

  • 5 tbsp grated parmesan (or more depending onpreference)

  • 1 large egg at room temperature ( your hands will thank me later)

  • 1 lb butcher box ground beef also at room temperature- nothing worse than trying to mix cold meat with your hands

  • 2 tbsp parsley

  • 2 tbsp oregano

  • 2 tbsp garlic powder

  • a few shakes of salt and pepper

If i’m being honest i usually eyeball the seasoning part - I usually just pour a little of everything on top of the meat. See picture below

Ingredients to make homemade air fryer meatballs. Used with my free ground beef from butcher box

My “measured” seasonings.

I didn’t have Italian bread crumb this day-don’t come at me.

Instructions:

  1. Let meat and egg come to room temperature

  2. Combine all ingredients into a bowl

  3. Wet your hands and mix well

  4. Loosely pat mixture into 10 balls- DO NOT SQUISH them super tight. unless you want dry-ass meatballs chill with the ball rolling. Less is more =)

  5. Spray basket of air fryer

  6. Gently place meatballs into the air fryer

  7. Spray meatballs evenly with cooking spray

  8. Air fry on 350 for about 10 ish minutes.

  9. Don’t forget to shake them and spray them halfway through

  10. If you’re making Sunday sauce- cook them a little less and dump them into your sauce so they can simmer simmer all day long
