Easy chicken marinades for the grill this summer
It’s hot out here in NY still so cooking is still outside as much as possible. Summer is also usually just all-around busier for us and most of my clients as well. Between sporting events, camps, long days at the pool or beach we are out there enjoying our summer as much as possible.
Something I am a big fan of especially in the summer is marinating for the grill. In 5 minutes I can have all my protein cleaned up and soaking up all the yumminess for dinner later on in no time at all. This makes dinner later when I am pooped from being outside all day easy, convenient, tasty and healthy. Yes, yes and yes please!
Another way I have simplified my life recently is by joining Butcher Box. Instead of going through each grocery flyer every week and shopping around for the best meat and seafood deals now I just pick out my custom box every 4 weeks for the following month. They deliver it right to my door frozen and on dry ice- it’s so cold when you unpack it you may even want to wear gloves 🧤

1 NY Strip Steaks
1 2 x 10 oz steaks
2 Chicken Tenders, 3 x 1lb packs
1 Flat Iron Steaks, 4 x 6 oz steaks
1 Ground Turkey, 2 x 1 lb packs
As soon as my delivery comes I leave some out to defrost for prep and then divvy the rest up between our freezers. All my grass-fed meat, organic free-range chicken and wild-caught seafood for the month done- and without going anywhere.
Honey Mustard Marinade
Instructions and Ingridients
2 servings Bolthouse honey mustard dressing
1 serving Honey
2 tsp Truff hot sauce
Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper
Clean and pat dry your chicken tenders from Butcher Box.
Season with salt and pepper and set aside
Mix together all the ingredients from above
Add chicken to your Pyrex pour marinade over top
Close lid and shake.
Marinate for minimum of :30 mins or All day like I do =)
